An extended test-bed, aiming at studying the interaction between IPv6 and the Grid middleware was set up in the framework of the EUChinaGRID activities.
The testbed included sites at GARR, GRNET, INFN Roma TRE and CERN premises in Europe and at BUAA and CNIC premises in China. All sites but CERN have available both IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, to exploit the functionality of the Grid middleware in Dual Stack mode and in IPv6-only mode.
The inclusion of IPv6-capable nodes in the CERN ETICS Condor pool enabled collaboration with the ETICS project.
The testbed, its functionalities, and connected activities and findings are thoroughly described in D2.2 and 2.3.
